Belmont St.

Yorkville

A high-end renovation on one of central Toronto’s tightest streets, with custom millwork running through the entire home.

Back to all Projects

Belmont Street sits in one of the most desirable and most constrained pockets of central Toronto. The homes are beautiful, the streets are narrow, and there is almost nowhere to put a truck. That combination is exactly what makes projects like this one a test of a builder rather than a test of a budget.

The renovation itself is a full high-end rebuild of the interior, with custom millwork carried through the house and a finishing package to match the calibre of the neighbourhood. Marla Nazzicone Design led the interiors.

Project Story

The Challenge.

The build was straightforward. The logistics were not. Parking was effectively non-existent, neighbours were within arm’s reach on both sides, and every material delivery and waste removal had to be booked, staged and executed inside a narrow window without blocking the street or the people who live on it. We ran the site so tightly that the neighbours barely knew we were there — which, on a street like this one, is the highest compliment available
